Newly Published Book Highlights Fun Pranks to Play on Siblings

“Prank and Pray You Get Away!” also showcases bond between brothers and sisters

NORWAY, ME – Brothers and sisters of all ages will have a wide range of pranks and practical jokes to play on each other with the release of a new book, “Prank and Pray You Get Away!”

The book, published by Find Your Way Publishing, Inc., was written by young authors William Eshleman and Paige Kimball, a Maine brother and sister. The pair wanted to highlight the special bond that siblings have while sharing some of the fun and good-natured pranks they’ve played on each other over the years.

“If you have a brother or a sister, you know that—at one time or another—you’ve pestered and got on each other’s nerves,” said Melissa Eshleman of Find Your Way Publishing. “This book provides you with simple, creative ways to play fun pranks and jokes on your brother or sister.

“Prank and Pray You Get Away!” features over 60 playful pranks for young siblings that can be used without being mean or cruel. The authors’ goal is to not only provide fun jokes to play, but to also help siblings develop strong relationships based on laughter and love, lasting into adulthood. By having these strong bonds, brothers and sisters can create happy memories with each other.

William and Paige, who are in 6^th grade and 10^th grade respectively, have written the book based on the positive yet mischievous relationships they have with their siblings. William in particular is an expert at joking around with his brother and sisters, and he thoroughly enjoyed testing the pranks in the book on all of them.

“This book was written by William, with Paige providing guidance in helping him organize his ideas,” said Melissa Eshleman. “There’s no doubt that kids of all ages will enjoy the easy, yet entertaining pranks featured in the book." 

All of the jokes in “Prank and Pray You Get Away” have been thoroughly tested, and the book also features many witty and inspiring quotes about sibling relationships.

William Eshleman is a 6^th-grade honor student who attends the Guy E. Rowe school in Norway. He enjoys being outdoors, archery, soccer, basketball, and has participated in competitive diving. He also enjoys reading, swimming, hiking, biking and spending time with friends and family.
