“This might be the first book I have ever 100% recommended! I had the honor of meeting the author, 11 year old Marrae Kimball from Norway, Maine today during my downtown walk. This book should be mandatory reading for members of Congress! Go out and buy it today! Support good people doing good things here in Maine!” ~ Jason Levesque, President of Argo Group

You love the children in your lives and you want what’s best for them. You want them to succeed. You want them to grow up and live happy lives. Even if you have the best, well-behaved children in your lives, it never hurts to expose them to other tools to encourage more of the same. If you are a teacher, you know that some students unfortunately don’t get as much time with their parents as they need. Most parents have at least one or two full-time jobs which unfortunately keep them away from home more than they would like. Children are either forced to raise themselves or to be raised in a daycare setting with several other children so one-on-one time is limited.

If you’ve ever looked around while out in public and felt disappointed with the way other children are acting because you see them demonstrating rude, disrespectful behavior, you’re not alone. The sad part is that it’s not the children’s fault.

If you’ve ever felt that something needs to be done to help these children, you’re definitely right about that.

It’s a simple fact that children learn from others around them. If parents or teachers don’t have the necessary time to spend with them, they end up lost and confused. Or worse yet, learning attributes you’d rather they didn’t.

“If you ever wondered if your children were well-behaved go to the children's museum sometime and see how other people's children behave. Atrocious! Stepping on my kids, yanking stuff away from my kids, pushing them out-of-the-way and their parents just look on and gaze at them as if they're princes and princesses.” ~ Joe Cummings, Middle School Social Studies Teacher

But exactly which skills and what knowledge do they need, and what’s the best way for them to get it?

There are many programs out there and professional, training experts that have made a fortune convincing people that the answer to that question is complicated, time intensive, and very expensive, which can leave one feeling hopeless.

Although these programs and professionals mean well, the truth is, achieving success in all areas of one’s life doesn’t have to involve any of those things and can be much simpler than that.

In fact, by learning just 20-50 key concepts, children will have all the knowledge, information, and the skills needed to succeed. They will learn to:

·         Communicate/Share their feelings with other.

·         Put on their listening ears.

·         Know the difference between tattling and telling.

·         Wash their hands to avoid getting sick.

·         Be a good sport.

·         Respect differences.

·         Create their life exactly how they want it

In a recent survey, more than 70 percent of U.S. adults said they thought people are ruder now than they were 20 years ago. Guaranteed Success for Grade School; 50 Easy Things You Can Do Today! gives hope to this recent concern.

As a grade school student, Marrae Kimball, with the help of her teachers, family, and friends put together Guaranteed Success for Grade School; 50 Easy Things You Can Do Today!, to help teach children how to share their feelings with others, know the difference between tattling and telling, be a good sport, respect differences, create their lives, and much more.

Children love to succeed and do well in school. Watch a child being praised, and you will see his or her face light up with pride. Have you noticed when children do well and receive positive feedback, they want to continue to do well? Unfortunately the opposite is true as well. If young children are not consistently reminded of their manners, they often tend to get in trouble, which can lead to feelings of embarrassment and sadness. If in a recent survey, more than 70 percent of U.S. adults said they thought people are ruder now than they were 20 years ago, something needs to change. Something needs to be done. Guaranteed Success for Grade School; 50 Easy Things You Can Do Today! will undoubtedly move children in the right direction; a positive direction.

Marrae spent over a year asking teachers, Veterans, grandparents, family, and friends what they thought were the most important, yet simple lessons that children should know to help them succeed not only in elementary school, but in all areas of their lives.

After her months of research, she discovered the best, timeless lessons that children should learn to increase productivity, healthy communication, success, and happiness for the rest of their lives.

It doesn’t take a lot of time. And it takes an amazingly small amount of money to learn, just the cost of a book. Not thousands of dollars for parenting classes or counseling.

And it absolutely, positively WORKS!

"Wow! This book is amazing! I use it often as a reference guide for my children. We read a few tips a day and I have seen a positive improvement! I've even learned a few things. Thank you Marrae for writing this book!" ~ Miranda Cobbett, Customer Service Representative & Parent

"You cannot go wrong with this book. I wish I could give a copy to every child that rides on my bus! It is awesome and will help so many children become better students and people." ~ Clayton Rice, School Bus Driver & grandparent

The young Maine author, Marrae Kimball, doesn't think that children behave badly on purpose; therefore, she spent a year compiling ideas from family and friends to help her fellow classmates.

Every other page contains a simple, yet important lesson, with explanations and examples on how to achieve grade school success. “Some boys don't know that they should take their baseball hats off inside. And some kids don't know that you should let others exit a room or an elevator first. Because if you don't ride an elevator very much, how would you know? So I put together what I think are the most important things that kids should know, to help them.” explained Marrae when asked why she wrote the book.

It’s a must have for all children

Using these methods:

  • Children learn how to share and to be happy doing so
  • Teachers see an improvement within days of reading a page or two
  • Students feel limitless and know that they can create whatever they want in life
  • Children learn compassion and respect for not only other children but for their teachers and parents as well

And these are just a few of the benefits. Several teachers read one page a day to their class each morning and notice the difference in behavior instantly. It’s helped hundreds of children around the world. And not only that the lessons are timeless and for people of ALL ages. It’s helped hundreds of people – even corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and smart, ambitious people like you – learn essential concepts on their own terms, and substantially improve their relationships, and overall quality of life.

Marrae Kimball is an honor student and lives in Maine. She loves helping others and recently coordinated a party to raise donations for a local animal shelter. Marrae wrote this simple book, along with Guaranteed Success for Kindergarten to help students, parents, and teachers have grade school success.

A lifetime of lessons for success ALL in one book!

It was during a field trip to the State House in Augusta, Maine that Marrae felt the need to help her peers. There were a group of boys who kept getting reprimanded for having their baseball hats on inside. Marrae felt embarrassed for the boys and kept repeating that it wasn’t their fault because they just didn’t know. They hadn’t been told. How could they do what’s right if they didn’t know?

Eventually the boys learned that every time they entered a government building, they had to take off their hats, but they never knew the reason why or what it represented which means that they didn’t learn from being reprimanded and most likely they would wear their baseball cap inside another building in the future….. unless they were made to take it off.

Marrae came away from the field trip asking the question; “Why did the boys with baseball caps get yelled at for having their baseball caps on inside the buildings?” And what other important lessons should students be aware of?

Before we give you an example of a few of the lessons, ask yourself this question: How much more potential and opportunity would a student have if they were able to learn not just one or two, but ALL of the following:

·         How to talk to their friends before a problem escalated.

·         That everyone is different and to respect those differences

·         To be themselves

·         The difference between tattling and telling and when to take action

·         Be happy, by thinking positive thoughts.

·         How to relax when feeling anxiety or discomfort

·         How to be helpful in all situations

It would change everything, right? It would increase their confidence, their feeling of worthiness, and their potential a hundredfold. Teachers would immediately identify these students as a huge asset to the class.

Yet, for some reason, these are exactly the kind of practical, useful skills that AREN’T necessarily taught in school or at home for that matter. It’s not that parents and teachers don’t want to teach these timeless, valuable lessons; it’s that they don’t have the time. Teachers have so many time constraints and standards to concentrate on. And parents usually work one or two full-time jobs, therefore, get home right before dinner when there are only a few hours left before bedtime. There isn’t always enough time or a reason to get the important lessons in. That’s where Guaranteed Success for Grade School; 50 Easy Things You Can Do Today! comes in. Parents and teachers can pull this book out and read one or two pages a day taking a moment to discuss the idea and the importance of it.

The results were ASTOUNDING!

“I have been an elementary school teacher for seven years now. And I love Guaranteed Success for Grade School; 50 Easy Things You Can Do Today! I pull it out every morning before class begins and have a student read a page. Then the class discusses why it’s an important lesson. We have an open discussion and students give examples of how they can benefit from the idea. My entire classroom has benefited from this book. All of my students want to help tidy up the room at the end of the day, they want to share with each other, and they use their manners much more than they did before we started reading Guaranteed Success for Grade School; 50 Easy Things You Can Do Today! I wish I had this book seven years ago, but now that I have it, I will continue to use it for years to come.” ~ Julie Abbott Elementary School Teacher

One day while Marrae was at a Chorus/Band concert at her school, she overheard two elderly women discussing “how rude children are now-a-days’. They kept shushing the children around them who were being rude and disrespectful during the concert. The more Marrae thought about it, the more questions she started asking. She wanted to do something to help her peers. As she continued asking questions, trusted teachers at her school gave her some interesting advice. What they said made sense to Marrae and she liked the idea of helping others succeed in all areas of their lives. But could she do it? Marrae took notes and decided she wanted to put a book together knowing it would help students for years to come.

Marrae took her teachers’ advice one step further and decided to ask everyone she came in contact with what they thought were the most important things students should know. She decided to include not just people within her school, but older people, successful business people, and teachers outside her own school. People who had already been there, who wanted to see a change, who had made the mistakes, identified the principles, proven the strategies, won in the end, and Marrae took notes on their thoughts and ideas for the rest of us to learn from.

Within just a few month of putting together Guaranteed Success for Grade School; 50 Easy Things You Can Do Today! Marrae received national attention.  She has been featured in two Weekly Reader magazines, received acknowledgment from President Barack Obama and United States Senator Olympia Snowe, and has been interviewed by "The John Tesh Radio Show."
